Research Experience

 

Dr. Fiosina has a broad research background in theoretical computer science, mathematical methods, statistics, transportation science, gained through her M.Sc. in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Telematics and Logistics. The researcher also has a broader education in mathematics, information technologies, artificial intelligence. She has received a number of prestigious scholarships firstly for B.Sc., M.Sc. studies and then she obtained Ph.D. and post-doctoral scholarships. In her academic career, she delivered lectures in a number of subjects for 7 years time period. Her teaching experience spans all levels, from simple tutoring to lecturing and tutor supervision. She conducted post-doctoral research in a number of funded scientific projects in Latvia and Germany. Dr. Fiosina took part in a number of international conferences, where presented her articles. This is reflected in a large number of publications that she has in this area. She also has an experience in the conference organization, working as a member of the Local Committee of two international conferences. From 2006 she is a member of Latvian Simulation and Modeling Association.
